We are Devon and Courtney Weaver, the husband and wife team behind FemmeVP.com.  On the left, you can see a picture of our board of directors, which is really just us and our official mascot, Willis. 

We are both sports fans, just to a varying degree of insanity.  Devon is the die-hard who has no problem acting like a 2-year old after a crucial loss (I always replace anything I break).  Courtney is a little more sane and casual about sports; she likes to go to games and look cute, ignore the action on the field and watch the crowd.  We wanted to create a site that catered to both ends of the fan spectrum and all the ladies in-between.

Our goal was to start a sports-oriented business online, but we weren’t exactly sure at first what that would be.  After months and months of researching the industry, we read a slew of articles detailing the growth of the female fan and the huge demand for apparel and accessories that were strictly made for her.  We thought if they were so many female fans that there must be a million sites that focus entirely on her sports needs.  But to our surprise, we found sites did not have a huge focus on female sports fans.  And thus FemmeVP.com was born.

FemmeVP.com is a boutique sports shop dedicated entirely to the female fan.  No unisex products. No men’s products (we did sneek in a few items for the little ones though!).  Just the gear and fashion, home and car accessories she needs to support her team.   No more settling for sites or stores that think of you as an afterthought. 

In addition to outfitting women, FemmeVP.com also exists to actively support the female sports fan community.  Check out the community section of our website to find cool links to sites, message boards, blogs and articles for ladies who love sports. 

FemmeVP community also features photos from women around the world showing support for their teams.  Feel free to email pictures (community@femmevp.com) of you tailgating, in the stands or in front of the TV sporting your favorite team’s gear.  Yes, the pics can include your other half and the kids.
